Parents Info

AUSSIE NINJA KIDS is dedicated to helping kids from all backgrounds achieve their best - body, spirit and mind, develop a caring community spirit, a strong, good character and to help others to do the same. It’s like a cross between high adventure activities, a Yoga / Tai Chi class and the fun, fitness, self respect, self discipline, coordination and confidence building of a Kids ‘Traditional’ Martial Arts class.

Currently divided into 2 groups,

ª   Girls and boys, 4 to 12 join KOHAI BUYU NINJUTSU (Junior Warrior Friends Perseverance Art)  is more gymnastic orientated, balance and co-ordination games, evasion self defence, self esteem and confidence building with no complicated stuff, just good FUN !

   Girls and Boys, 13 to 17 join SAMURAI JUDAI BUJUTSU (Samurai Youth Warrior Art) to train in more formal, controlled, safe, low competition environment offering more responsibility and self control and a more traditional self defence with the emphasis on encouraging a healthy respect for others as well as their own abilities, not unhealthy rivalry or envy.

Note: 4-6's train in a separate group for 30 minutes maximum, 7-17 train together (same start time) however 7-12's train for 1 hour and 13-17's train for 1.5 hours.
Over 18's (adults) is a totally separate group.

 Other programs offered include;

(Warrior Friends Society) a social club for Japanese cultural activities.

Developing good character using the: ROKU DAIJIN - Six Great Characters, A balance off Sanshin – Body, Mind, Spirit  and Sanhimitsu – Thought, Word, Deed.

BUJINKAN BUDO TAIJUTSU / NINJUTSU is the ‘Martial Art’ style our kids, adult students and Instructors study is based on, our organisation is called NINJUTSU INTERNATIONAL Pty Ltd,
our adults organisation in Australia is called  BUDO TAIJUTSU AUSTRALIA
, our Australian Kids Martial Arts clubs are called AUSSIE NINJA KIDS  split into 2 Martial systems KOHAI BUYU NINJUTSU and SAMURAI BUYU JUJUTSU, with an emphasis on avoiding fighting and when there is no alternative causing minimal harm to the attacker while effectively protecting themselves, inc. 'Ninja' escape & evasion tactics, rolling & falling protective techniques, balance & co-ordination. All these skills are great for any other physical sports the kids might be playing as well !

As this style is not an aggressive, kick and punch style, boys & girls with a lack of confidence or a timid nature will thrive as they progressively build skills & confidence in a non threatening informal environment. This also benefits ‘active’ kids as they learn to be calm and balanced. The focus of lessons is on positive reinforcement and FUN !

BEWARE of Karate, Freestyle MMA, Kung fu or Tae kwon do clubs offering 'Little Ninjas' (4-6 year old program) this program is a 'one size fits all' originally designed as a marketing tool to get and retain students by cashing in on the Ninja popularity.
It's run by Karate, Tae kwon do and Kung Fu clubs that DON'T have their own little kids programs and DON'T teach NINJUTSU.
The technique taught by these clubs differs greatly from REAL NINJUTSU!   They will call your child a NINJA but this is simply not TRUE!

NOTE: Our 'Li'l Ninja Clan' program activities use REAL NINJUTSU and was approved in 2005 through the Australian Sports Commission Active After Schools Communities Program (Registration Number 1127) and has been run in over 30 public and private schools and after school care centres.
