Battle for the immortal Armour!

Stories of the kohai buyu IV

by Sosai Garyu
(pronounced; Soh-say Gareeoo)

Japan 1184, in the mountainous area called Togakure, a 16 year old warrior named ‘Daisuke’ who was a member of the Shugendo (now known as Tendai Buddhism) was involved in a great battle, he was wounded many times as he cut his way through a 3000 strong army of horseman eventually he collapsed from his severe injuries but miraculously still alive was rescued by a Taoist Sage known as Kasumi-gakure (hiding in the mist), the sage eventually accepted him as a student. Daisuke adopted his Ninja warrior teachings, added his own Shugendo Warrior knowledge and founded Togakure Ryu Ninpo.

Daisukes' armour worn in the great battle was lost to time. The Armour is ‘reputed’ to hold the power of making the wearer ‘Immortal’. It reappeared 810 years later in a collection of old samurai bits and pieces auctioned off after the death of an old Japanese Kendo teacher who had moved to Australia in his twilight years. That was 10 years ago and it has vanished yet again.

Only a handful of individuals in a few Organisations around the world know of this armour, one is ‘Akushitsu Na Kan’ (wicked academy) hidden somewhere in Old Mongolia, it’s leader known as the ‘Black Spirit, Shadow Lord’, an evil creature never seen, even by his own servants and henchmen. He commands an evil world wide martial arts empire involved in all that is wrong and hateful. Word has spread that he is after the armour, the Japanese Ninja Organisation knows that for the sake of world peace and harmony he must be stopped at all costs !

So the quest is on to recover ‘Daisuke’s Immortal Armour’ . . .

Toda’s master is alerted to be on the look out for anything that might be suspicious in Australia regarding the Armour or ‘Black Spirit, Shadow Lords’ activities, Toda overhears this and decides he and his mates can help.
The dog’s ears are pricked !
